12oz bottle. Pours a golden amber body with a 2 finger, sudsy bubbly off white head. A good amount of lacing clings to the glass as the head recedes. Aromas of floral hops, citrus zest, grapefruit, lemons, oranges, some sweetness. Fore of the tongue is floral hops, citrus zest, grapefruit. Back of the tongue brings some bitterness into the fold and a hint of malt sweetness, along with the pine notes from the hops. Finish is medium length, spicy and very bitter. Resolves to a lingering bitterness in the back of the throat. Palate is light to medium bodied, oily and with a good amount of astringency.

Jun 6, 2007 Aroma of caramel, piney hops, and sweet malt. Hazy amber, orange, with a rocky off-white head. It’s got floaters. Nice bitter taste with caramel malt, floral citrus, and piney hops. Well done.

Jun 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a decent sized beige head. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, pine, and malts. Flavor is malt, floral hops, pine, and citrus, as well as some bread notes. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes sharply bitter. A very nice brew, just not outstanding.

Jun 1, 2007 Updated: Jul 7, 2007Pours a wonderful deep burnt orange color with a big off white head with good lacing. Grapefruit, lemon, and pine note smells. The taste was generously bitter, balanced pretty well with the malt. The hops stand out the most, which is good, and stays long after you finish your drink. Good strong finish. The only problem I have is the flavor of the hops used...Willamette hops overwhelm the beer. Good, solid IPA

May 30, 2007 350 mL bottle. Golden amber with a foam white head. A decent hoppy aroma. A good thick almost creamy palate. The hops don’t give as much of a bitter bite as I hope for, but there is a really good balance betwen the malt and hops. Dry finish. Pretty good overall.

May 29, 2007 Bottle... poured an unfiltered burnt orange with a nice off white head. Floral hops and malt on the nose with a little but of earthy pine. Beefy and hearty palate with flavors of hops, pine, earth-like qualities and spices. Well balances and refreshing.

May 26, 2007 Pours a dark copper color with a white head. Has some lacing. Has hints of sweet hops, citrus fruits, flowers, some caramel, and nuts. Finsihes clean and smooth, with a light hop bitterness on the tongue.

May 25, 2007 Nice copper hue. Medium boddied with flavors of pine, cedar, caramel, roasted almond. Nice.
