Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a decent sized beige head. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon, pine, and malts. Flavor is malt, floral hops, pine, and citrus, as well as some bread notes. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes sharply bitter. A very nice brew, just not outstanding.

Pours a wonderful deep burnt orange color with a big off white head with good lacing. Grapefruit, lemon, and pine note smells. The taste was generously bitter, balanced pretty well with the malt. The hops stand out the most, which is good, and stays long after you finish your drink. Good strong finish. The only problem I have is the flavor of the hops used...Willamette hops overwhelm the beer. Good, solid IPA

350 mL bottle. Golden amber with a foam white head. A decent hoppy aroma. A good thick almost creamy palate. The hops don’t give as much of a bitter bite as I hope for, but there is a really good balance betwen the malt and hops. Dry finish. Pretty good overall.

Bottle... poured an unfiltered burnt orange with a nice off white head. Floral hops and malt on the nose with a little but of earthy pine. Beefy and hearty palate with flavors of hops, pine, earth-like qualities and spices. Well balances and refreshing.

Pours a dark copper color with a white head. Has some lacing. Has hints of sweet hops, citrus fruits, flowers, some caramel, and nuts. Finsihes clean and smooth, with a light hop bitterness on the tongue.

This beer is quite good, but not better than some of the other exceptional IPAs in recent memory, such as Alpha King, Real Ale Full Moon Pale Rye, Titan, Dreadnought, Big Eddy, etc, but it is still quite good and highly recommended. This beer pours a hazy amber with hints of red-orange. Head is abundant, and inconsistently fades over time, leaving an attractive scum on the surface of the beer which is heavier around the edges of my glass, which the head aggressively clings to. This kind of head usually indicates to me that I;m looking at a pretty substantial beer. Aroma is hoppy and lightly citrus sweet. Flavor is malty and hoppy citrus-y up front with just a touch of sourness that doesn’t quite fit (no date code on this bottle I can find). Nonetheless, this is a pretty solid IPA, but not better than some of the exceptional midwestern IPAs I’ve come to love (3 Floyd’s, 2 Brothers, etc). Still good though.

Pours a dark gold. This beer is hazy, because it’s unfiltered. The nose comes across more as bitter than some "fruity bouquet". It’s bitterness is big on the front end but slowly fades as a more traditional citrus type hop flavor shows itself. The malt is there, but it takes a back seat to everything else going on. This is probably the most balanced IPA I’ve had in a very long time.
