| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Pours a clear dark orange with a thin head that evaporated quickly. Somewhat mild aromas, hops, citrus, and al ittle cinnamon spices. Taste is mostly grapefruit hops with a hint of bitterness and a little maltiness shows up as well. A little piney in the finish, but failry smooth. Kind of a sweeter IPA. Nice little session IPA. DrHomolka (728), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 26, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours an orange color with a lot of floating yeasties. Aroma is hoppy with a decent amount of malt. Bready, biscuity as well. Warmer it gets more citrusy hops and is pleasant. Taste is smooth, medium bodied, bitter hops in the aftertaste. The flavor isn’t amazing but it’s a nice, standard IPA. This is a good beer. Not a great beer but good. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Thick bronzey orange pour, dirty with sediment. Clementine, honey and bourbon aroma. Alcohol is actually forward. Viscous scotch malts. Brazen hop flavors of tea leaves, pine, and some lemon citrus. Noticeable yeast taste on the fringes. Vegetally textured palate - green, thick, and earthy. Quite West Coast. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Bottle. Copper orange in color with no head. Cinnamon and hoppy aroma. Spicey, grassy hops. Hoppy nutty flavor. Caramel notes. Full bodied. Bitter finish. Ok beer. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Bottle. Small, thin head sits atop amber orange brown colored body. Flavor surprisingly is mostly honey and cinamon but very hoppy. The spicy hops taste somewhat muted though, as the bottle doesnt taste all that fresh. There is a meatness to it that makes it full bodied. Although it’s a good beer, I’d love to try a draft version. jarspag (599), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 13, 2007 earthy, citric, decent amt of hops...nothing great though. recall a lot of sediment. Just an avg brew! lost coast has better. OldRaspy (292), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Poured from the 12oz bottle an orangish amber with a small frothy off-white head that faded quickly but left a ring of lacing. This had a ton of floaties. Aroma was of sweet caramel malt and citrus hops. Flavor was a nice citrus hop bite with the sweet caramel malt wonderfully mixed in. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2007 On tap at brewpub: One of the better Lost Coast offerings for sure. (Others are hit or miss). Fresh hop nose, amber color. Sweet malt goes by quick, then a broad and high hop bitter overpowers it. Could use more body, but overall fun to drink and a solid beer.
