Bottle. Pours an orangey gold with small, tight off-white head. The aroma is sugary with some leafy hops and little bits of pine and citrus. The flavor is tart bitterness at first, then a slight resinous pine. It fades to a dull cotton-candy-like sweetness in the finish and leaves a faint bitter aftertaste. There is decent bitterness throughout, but it kind of lacks the bright hop flavor that I like in IPAs. Still pretty good, though.

Aroma of pine - not citrus for me. Coppery amber color with a persistent white head; small motes in the glass, small chunks in the bottom of the bottle (lightly filtered?). Starts piny hop, and malt sweetness quickly follows. Small amount of grapefruit after a bit. Moderate mouthfeel. It must be well balanced, as the finish is hop and light sweet. Ends more puckerish than sweet.

Poured a hazy amber color with lots of yeast sediment floating around(yum).Beige to offwhite head that dissipated rather quickly. Nice floral and slight citrus smell to this one. Intense hop flavor hits you from the first sip. Medium bodied with a great hoppy slightly sweet aftertaste. A great west coast IPA. Represent.

Pours a orangish-amber hazy brew with large chunks of sediment floating through out with a foamy orangish head. Aroma is a hoppy musky old socks. Wow, great, intense hops bitter and flavor. This stuff is good drinking. Big bitter burn at first, kinda fizzy, but fades to warmth.

First of all, whatever the outcome of that ridiculous lawsuit over the bottle art came to, I am glad this beer has retained its flavor integrity. Pours a lovely hazy(a tip "o" the hat to this, one of the unfiltered prodgeny of beers) tanned orange into my recepticle. Light hops in the aroma that at first left me cringing in anticipation of a taste sharing an equal brevity. Not so. Enters with a bold, coating flavor that, while more restrained than most other west coast IPAs, meets the parents of your tongue with a dozen roses for mom and a fine cigar for dad. Sweet, almost orange marmalade under scores the spiced bitterness of the sauve hops. Finishes lightly citric and just of touch of biscuity malt. A fine effort from L.C. and fits nicely with their solid line-up. Here is a hint, let some one who swears by Sierra Nevada give it a try and I bet a mule’s nut that they will enjoy the added body this delivers. And if they don’t? You can find yourself your own mule nut.

Straw color with a very pale off white head that sticks around and leaves a fluffy lace on the side of my glass. Smells like citrus and floral hops as well as some malt. Not overly hoppy IPA, good taste that doesn’t get mauled by overabundant hops. I’m not the biggest IPA fan and I really enjoyed this beer. Great Bottle design that graced my Bollywood party.

12oz Bottle @ Coles. Buffalo, NY. One of my least favorite of West Coast IPA’s. not saying its a bad beer but just doesn’t stand up to the others.

12oz bottle-pours a creamy to rocky light tan head and gold color with lots of particles. Aroma is citrus-lemon, medium malt. Taste is citrus-bitter, medium malt-somewhat sweet. OK carbonation.
