Oct 13, 2006 Bottle. Orange amber, low golden head. Nice orangepeel and pine aroma. Orange base, light heather and perfume. Medium to light body. Bitter finish, quickly tapering off.

Oct 13, 2006 Bottled (rating #2100, thanks Degarth). Hazy nutbrown colour, huge beige fluffy, longlasting head. Aroma is grapefruits and flowery hops. Also some caramel malts noteable. Flavour is grassy and flowery hops mixed with fruity hints. Nice biting carbonation. Finish is grassy hops and the grassyness stays for long in the aftertaste, and also has some caramellish hints in it. Dry and biting bitterness. Surprisingly interesting and drinkable IPA.

Oct 2, 2006 Updated: Nov 14, 200612 oz bottle pours orangish with a thick off white head. Nice grapefruit citrus hop and malt aromas. The hop profile is very complex. Obviously using many different hop variteties to achieve an orange grapefruit citrus bitterness that covers the tongue intensely to let only a bit of carmel malt come through. Nice lasting bitterness that you can feel on the sides of your tongue. i wish i had the date on the bottle, b/c this had to be very fresh. Excellent single i.

Oct 2, 2006 Nice and hoppy in both aroma and bitter finish. Clear copper color and nice, even carbonation. Slightly dry on the finish and quite drinkable with well masked alcohol.

Sep 27, 2006 the bottle pour is hazy with a bubbly off-white head that lingers. Taste is very well bittered with a malt sweetness to balance. There is a slight citrus, but more biterness and floral in aroma and taste. A decent beer.

Sep 26, 2006 Tasted right after Poleeko Gold so matched up really well. Bigger hoppier aromas. Nice pine and spice. Slight blueberry and citrus tastes. Medium bodied with malt and caramel to balance out the bitterness of the hops.

Sep 16, 2006 6 pack at THE beer store of Jacksonville (for the moment), Total Wine. Pours a dark cloudy amber. Lots of sediment in the beer, had to check the label to see that the beer is unfiltered. Cool by me, just making sure I didn’t pour into a dirty glass. Lots of floral notes, and tastes great straight from the bottle. Tastes crisp and clean, and the alcohol content is just right. A gem of a find for me, I will buy this again.
