The flavor was piney, floral, and grassy jam packed with hops. Really hoppy with some citrus notes. Dry malt with some carmel in the finish. Svesse (2683), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2006 (Bottled, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Colour is dark amber, with disappearing head, leaving lots of lacing. Hazy, with sediment sinking to the bottom. Nose is fruity, loads of hops and citrus aroma (mandarin, orange peel). Sweetish. Taste is fruity (orange, mandarin, grapefruit), with loads of fresh hops. Some sweetness, but not too much. Medium body, with some tongue prickling carbonation. Long hoppy finish. Hoppy, but still rather smooth. Well balanced. Not the best in the class, but still very good. IrishBoy (2719), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 18, 2006 (Bottled) Very hazy, darkish amber solor with lots of floating yeast and a smallish tight head. Caramely, slightly roasty, grainy-malty and toffeeish aroma with somewhat mild hopping (for an IPA). Aromatic-hoppy, quite malty flavor with hints of alcohol. Medium-bodied, soft-carbonated palate. A nicely balanced and smooth IPA. Not very hoppy, though. glkaiser (1172), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2006 Bottle from Bottleworks. Cloudy copper. Big head. Mild hoppy aroma. Have to say this one doesn’t really do it for me. Very mellow taste. Not bad, just not great. paulmetzger (152), Pocatello, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2006 Pours deep golden, with fluffy head and suspended particulates.
Aroma is caramel malt with grassy overtones.
Starts mildly sweet with some up front bitter that quickly fades to reveal a robust malt finishes smooth, and then the absence of liquid yields a solid hop bite, mostly grassy/noble in nature, but with a definite fruityness. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a very murky orange brown with a nice off white head. Big sweet citrus hop aroma. Initial grainy and malty flavor that transitions to a slightly acidic and orange notes. Finishes bitter and slightly dry. A very nice IPA with it’s own personality. Not super aggressive.
