Dec 12, 2005 From Degarth on trade. Thanks! <P>Pours a clear amber with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma is citrus-hoppy. Taste has a nice bitter bite. Grapefruit citrus in the taste. Very flavorful IPA.

Dec 11, 2005 I had this beer multiple times. This time on tap at Hopyard. Somehow it seemed more cloudy than before, looked totally unfiltered and rather unappealing.
However flavor and taste was good as always, very hoppy with just the right bitterness. A very clean tasting IPA,
with the typical bitter IPA finish.

Dec 11, 2005 An aroma of hops infused with vanilla drift from the glass. The color is of wet rust. The head is thick and leaves good lacing behind. The taste is dry and strongly bitter and it lingers well.

Dec 9, 2005 Pours hazy orange with light head. Grapefruit overtones and biscuity malts. Definitely better as it warmed. Nice finish. Good IPA.

Dec 1, 2005 I didn’t find this as good as eveyone said it was, par for course I suppose. full bodied, and hoppy but lacked a finish I was hop(p)ing for. Don’t get me wrong tho...a very good beer by any standards, but I have my doubts about its astronomical rating.

Dec 1, 2005 Definitely one of my favorite IPAs. I picked up a dusty six pack that had been sitting in my hometown’s best liquor store for what had to be over two years. At this point, it’s much more like a very mild barleywine. The aroma is quite mild at this point but still very citrusy; hops are rather mellow but have retained a great grapefruit character and lots of resinous bitterness. Body is somewhat dry but full and malty. Pretty sweet. This beer has so many hops that it’s putting me to sleep. This is one very tasty IPA which aged well and, I can imagine, is ever better and shockingly good and hoppy when young.
