22 oz. Pours a hazy amber-orange with a medium off white head that quickly fades . Nice sticky lacing.. Aroma is citrus, grass. Favor is mild citrus and earthy,backed by sweet carmel malts Well balanced and very drinkable.

Dec 14, 2009 12 oz bottle from John’s - Not a bad IPA. Starts out looking pretty good. Nice aroma. A bit of a metallic taste. I’d have another.

Dec 11, 2009 Pours hazy orange with fine bubbled white head. Lace is nice.
Nose is grapefruit and orange rind.
Palate is very grapefruity with some malt to tame the hops, but still very sharp and citrusy. Medium bodied. Pine is notable as well.
Finish is long and dry citrusy.

Nov 26, 2009 Short 12oz twist-off bottle. reddish amber color, light tan head. A good bit of chunks floating around in it. Aroma of sugary cotton candy and citrus rind. Nice resin scent along with a bit of toasted malt flavor. Finishes with a sharp hop bitterness. Typical / standard West Coast IPA. Lots of hops.

Nov 26, 2009 Doughy grapefruit nose, ringed with fresh oranges. Copper/ochre with many floaties, thin white head, decent lacing. The flavor is more grapefruit with more of the peel than the flesh and oranges, a little tinny. Bitter grapefruit peel finish. I’m not real crazy about this one.

Nov 3, 2009 Purchased at Lee’s Discount Liquor in Las Vegas. Pours orange with a white head. Piney, citrusy, and slightly bitter. Malts are caramel and bread. Very good beer and one I’d purchase regularly if it was available locally.

Oct 30, 2009 Everything you’d expect of an American IPA. Piney west coast hops, certainly of the C variety, pungent, resiny, candy-like and fragrant. The body is wonderfully balanced, comfortably higher abv without much residual sweetness, but this begs to be a bigger beer in my opinion. Not much going on by way of malts, just some crystal, giving the beer a sunset red tint. A spot-on example of the style for the uninitiated but it’s only personality, like so many American IPAs, lies in the label.

Oct 26, 2009 Nice beer. An IPA without the horrible bite. Nice smooth, for an ipa. Nice head. Enjoyable. Would get it again. Good novice IPA. Not a good beginner IPA.
