Commercial Description:
This highly hopped California style Pale Ale showcases the brewer's art of balancing malt and hop characteristics. A generous addition of Munich malts balances the bittering from Chinook hops, and Cascade hops round out the flavor profile.

(bottle - 22 oz) Hazy golden color and a quarter inch of lasting and foamy white head. Light aroma of citrus and some hops. Not as big as their Indica. Flavor is also very light. Small amount of hops and citrus flavors at the front. The middle is light and hoppy with a citrus and bitter finish. Medium bodied and not very bitter in the aftertaste.

(Rating #450)

Fresh ripe citrus fruit burst in the aroma along with a grassy, herbal hop character. Hazy yellow god coloured body is crowned by a tall, white, large bubbled head that lasts well and leaves plenty of lace. Toasty malts are balanced nicely with citrus, herbal hops and fair bitterness. Medium light body with moderately prickly carbonation. Half pint glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Bièropholie, Feb-05).

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy bubbly golden-orange with a large lasting foamy white head. Nice mild aroma of citrus hops nicely balanced with malt. Flavour follows the aroma and suffers slightly from being a bit too mild, it could use more bite to it. Light to medium bodied. Despite my complaint that it’s a bit mild it’s still quite easy to drink and an enjoyable Pale Ale.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev - my bottle. Poured hazy orange-gold with a decent white foamy head. Aroma of orange juice, pineapple and mango - quite sweet - plenty of fresh malt and sharp citrusy hops - very refreshing. Taste is a little bitter and thin, still juicy, but not the richness promised in the aroma, it’s a little grainy and the hops are too muted, but still decent. Mouthfeel is grassy and a little watery, quick off the tongue - it’s okay, smells nice, goes down easy.

Bottle, shared with hogtown Harry and blankboy, courtesy of harry. Rather light yellow, small white bubbly head. Nice citrus hop aroma (lemon, orange) - lots of malt as well. Nice light hop taste. Maybe a little too light, I didn’t think it had tons of flavour. Easy to drink though! Short finish. Good.

Can you say Copper penny, ovely done cascade metallic chacter. Malty and somewaht roasted notes do not balance well with sucking on copper notes. Slightly oxidized and metallic finish.
