22oz. Bottle: Aroma is 99% raspberry with a hint of chocolate. Sweet scent. Smells delicious, like raspberry sorbet. Poured brown in color with a medium creamy tan head that lasted. Good lacing. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor of raspberry, chocolate, hazelnut, nuts, and bread. Medium sweet. Not very balanced. Lively carbonation. Dry, sweet, chocolate/raspberry finish lasts. Light to medium body. I could not drink more than one of these due to the fruit sweetness.

From a bomber. This has a brown body with garnet colored edges. The head is medium khaki colored and left lots of lacing on the glass. The aroma is strong raspberry with a little bit of chocolate. There is also a hint of caramel. The taste is dry toffee and iced tea. There is a hint of raspberries but it very dry. There is not much sweetness.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear deep ruby with average head. The fresh raspberries in the aroma are acompanied by lightly roasty malt. With it’s surprisingly restrained sweetness and clean rounded, perhaps somewhat soapy moutheel it is more well balanced than I thought this beer would be, and the fresh raspberry flavour goes well with the nutty malt. Low bitterness. A solid effort in a difficult style.

Poured a little lighter than their normal brown with a slight red hue. Slightly brown head that didn’t last long. No lacing. Slight hint of sweetness in the aroma but not really of raspberries. Taste almost identical to their normal brown with just lightest hint of raspberries. I even got a hint of roast in the finish, almost porter quality. I think I would buy their Downtown Brown if I had to chose between the two.

Pours a nice dark brown with a thick off white head. The aroma explodes with a raspberry scent also a little chocolate and malt. The flavor is mostly of raspberries and some maple, honey, malt and chocolate. A very good beer !

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a deeper reddish / brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of raspberries and some cocoa. Tastes of raspberries, some caramel, and light chocolate. Lightly tart. Body on the thin side.

Arom is mmmmmm nice raspberries, but not too much else. Pours brownish. Taste is tart, lots of razz, moderately hoppy. Medium bodied. Nice job for what they were working with.
