Jul 26, 2006 Nice chocolate, caramel, malt, raspberry aroma. Pours a dark brown. I get a lot of chocolate up front, caramel, and raspberries. Nice fruit beer. A good balance of malt and fruit.

Jul 26, 2006 Not that impressive with this beer, Although it has a very distinctive Raspberry flavor and high malts. There is an unpleasant soapy like taste that is domiant and thus makes it unpleasnt ot drink in large amounts

Jul 26, 2006 The aroma has cherry coughsyrup, with raspberry, malt, and caramel. The appearance is dark red brown with a medium head. The flavor is like the aroma except with soap. The palate is thin. Despite being a disappointment it’s not all together as bad as it sounds.

Jul 19, 2006 Raspberry, raspberry, and more raspberry! What do you think the nose was? Raspberry! But a liitle malt was detected. transparent brown with a large tan head, Flavor was guess what? Sweet raspberry woth a little caramel malt.

Jul 2, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a cloudy ruby-brown with an average size diminishing creamy off-white head. Interesting aroma starts with raspberries and then follows with sweet malt, chocolate and some hops. Mild flavour is mostly sweet malt with less raspberry then the aroma suggests and some chocolate. There’s something unpleasant in the aftertaste, it’s somewhat "metallic". Light to medium bodied. I’ve definitely had many worse Fruit Beers but this one is still just O.K.

Jun 29, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Ruby-brown with a small, creamy head. Interesting aroma - caramel & hops, hints of coffee and cocoa, and lingering raspberry. Flavour doesn’t hold as much raspberry and hops as I’d hoped for, but it’s a nice, sweetish brown ale with a hint of fruit in the finish.

Jun 27, 2006 Bottle shared with Jerc, Hogtown Harry, GregClow, and Blankboy, Harry’s bottle. Medium to dark brown, small off-white head. Nice aroma of malt, and then the raspberries come in. A nice mix of brown ale like earthiness and fruit. Taste - it is certainly flavorful - almost a sour raspberry that started to turn my stomach - very acidic. Good beer base, but I couldn’t drink much of this.
