Many thanks to Rastacouere for this one. Raspberry aroma with notes of a weird cleanser and some metallic rust notes. Not particularly pleasing aroma. Dark amber/burgundy color with a frothy light tan head. Start is slightly tart with mild hints of raspberries. In the middle, it turns roasty, toasty and malty with chocolate tones. This is extremely well-balanced flavorwise. The raspberries work well with the chocolate and roasted malts and neither overpowers the other. This should be what brewers strive for flavorwise and balancewise when they make fruited brown ales. Unfortunately, the aroma on this beer sucks.

bomber shared with DYCSoccer17. Garnet red with a medium beige head. Lots of raspberry on the nose, and some other sweet characteristics. Thin mouthfeel, raspberry dominates, however it is not cloying. Maybe a hint of lightly roasted malt. But raspberry is the king on this one. thin, watery, but definately drinkable.

super lacey off white head on a deep red/brown body, smells distinctly like cotton candy, bold raspberry flavor that overwhelms anyting else that could be there, watery palate, easy going

Bottle poured a dark brown with a medium sized off white head. Aroma is light roast and raspberry. Flavor is roast, chocolate with raspberrys in the back. Almost like a very light bodied porter.

Armoa and flavor of raspberry fruit. Dark body but if held to light has a ruby tint to it. Off white head. Was rich and smooth on the palate. A good fruit beer.

Undercarbonated. Pretty nice aroma - berry and malt with a little cocoa. Clear, medium-dark brown beer with a clingy, light tan head. Bad label. Toasty, a little coffee tartness, pistachio tones. Some off notes as well - potato/squash - the raspberry actually presents a sort of vegetable quality up front. Session weight. It was initially very disappointing, but it kind of grew on me towards the bottom of the bomber. Didn’t do well in a back-to-back with Rogue Chipotle - it certainly didn’t seem as complex or well-crafted.

Deep brown pour with medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, big raspberries. Tastes raspberryish, with a solid caramel malt presence. Medium palate and not super complex, but very refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with hint of ruby when put up to light.. Sweet roasty, nutty raspberry aroma. Roasted coffee flavor with hints of raspberry. Tastes like a fruit porter of sorts. Quite good as far as fruit beers go.
