Great infusion of fruits with the smoothness of the richer ale characteristics. Very good beer, and something a bit different that the fruity wheat beers you see all the time. ketchepillar (491), Des Moines/Grinnell, Iowa, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Solid brown ale with a light raspberry flavor. Chocolate and caramel malts are present but not too heavy. Slightly acidic but not off putting. Good. scrizzz (1338), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Tawny brown, light tan head, thin coating of lacing down the glass. Jammy dense and beautiful raspberry aroma. Syrupy, heavy and rich, nearly complimentary. So forward with caramel and raspberry jelly it’s very much like a dessert topping. Raspberry caramel everywhere and it definitely has its place. Vertical Bacon Strips (904), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Poured out a creamy light tan head that goes to a skim but still leaves good lacing on top of the ultra deep red with brown brew. Nice and attentive aroma of very fresh raspberries and roasted malts, slight nuttiness and even slighter chocolate. Funny, the raspberries don’t seem that fresh any more. Excellent flavour! Nuts, raspberry, chocolate and roasted malts all mooshed up to perfection. Hey, there’s even some hops here and they don’t ruin the beer. Medium bodied or a bit more. Decent beer for sure and maybe a go to brew when looking for a raspberry brew that’s not called Lindemans. Rustyham (598), miami, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Starts great! like chocolate-covered raspberries, but quickly goes downhill. Like a cheap dirty swill of a beer. Unnatural and chemic. Better to have a sip of a friends than to drink a whole glass. On Tap at Yard House, Coral Gables. troopie (908), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Bottle. Poured ruby red with medium white head. Aroma of chocolate and raspberries. Lots of raspberry in the flavour, with some chocolate malt and caramel. Fruity finish. Good as a dessert beer. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Brown cola body complete with a long lasting tan cap. Very sour aroma with raberry notes, whole thing comes across kind of soapy. Nope its not soap its baby powder and perfume. Sent is strong and fake. Flavour is better than the aroma nice and malty with fresh raspberries. Bitter finish with coffee lingering in the aftertaste. These raspberries seem so fresh. Great tasting brew but it smells so bad. Very complex I can only describe half of what I’m tasting.
