Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 2, 2007 Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of fruit and almonds. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of raspberries and almonds, leading to a dry end with notes of berries. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 9, 2007 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear deep ruby with average head. The fresh raspberries in the aroma are acompanied by lightly roasty malt. With it’s surprisingly restrained sweetness and clean rounded, perhaps somewhat soapy moutheel it is more well balanced than I thought this beer would be, and the fresh raspberry flavour goes well with the nutty malt. Low bitterness. A solid effort in a difficult style. Papsoe (10517), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 5, 2007 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Clear, dark, orangey brown with a creamy, off-white head. Fresh raspberry aroma. Medium body, very dry in spite of the heavy raspberry notes and a dry, slightly chemical finish. But fresh and very quaffable. 310507 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2008 Dark brown. Big raspberry aroma, maybe some toast but not much else. Very chocolatey palate, nicely balanced by raspberry with a hint of fudge in the finish. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/01/2005
