orange body with not much head.the aroma is overloaded with tangerine.the flavor is dominated with tangerine, but does have some wheat shinning through.although honestly the tangerine kills it for me.

Bottle. I got out my shot glass and poured 1/4 of an oz of this beer into it then poured the rest down the sink. I wanted to get a good feel for the beer, the same way Sean does for his ratings so I figured a quarter of an ounce would be an appropriate sample size. Pours out an orange color without much of a head. The smell is great, very fruity, full of tangerines (obviously). The problem with this beer starts when you drink it. It is sweet, and different, and kind of heavy for a wheat beer. The taste is kind of like an artificially sweetened with orange version of Oberon that isnt as good. My quarter oz went away in a hurry, thank god for my nice Sean-like sample size on this one. Just think, I could have shared this with 87 more people.

650 ml. Hazy orange-amber with a soda-pop head that fizzles away in about 5 seconds. More bubbles keep trickling upwards, but this one has no retention whatsoever, not even a small ring! Aroma is of tangerine and orange peel. Flavor starts as fresh tangerine, turning to the more acidic-astringent peel and maybe some wheat. No wait; there is no wheat taste in this beer. Aftertaste is lemon juice tinged with tangerine. More than a hint of tangerine: this knocks you over the head with a bushel basket of tangerines. Light body is dry and astringent like chewing on the peel of a tangerine.

What a dissapointment. I enjoy the smell of tangerine so much that my mouth was watering at the first sniff. Unfortunately this beer tastes like bad sour tangerine on top of unsweet wet cereal. Nothing else to say.

22oz bottle from Casa de Oro Liquor. Pours golden orange with a small, wispy white head. Bursting with fresh tangerine aromas, then turns to orange soda. Flavor was tangerine and yeast with some hops.
