Citus dominates the aroma, some clover honey follows, and overall there is an almost perfume like character. Light body, crisp, clean palate, and leaning toward fizziness. The flavor has a soapiness to it, almost like the kind of fragrant, scented soap that one finds in the guest bathroom. Finishes with a sweetness that does nothing to enhance the experience. I’m not sure why I bought this. Probably because I like tangerines, but in a beer, at least this one, it seems like a huge mistake.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Light apricot in colour and quite hazy, near zero head left after an ok sized white fizzy foam up died instantly. Huge sweet tangerine aroma hits quick, pop-like, wheat, tea?. This tastes like Neocitran that I used to sneak from the cupboard when I was young. Light and almost bland, some tang on the ’buds but it’s pretty muted. Neat spices make this an interesting beer. A dry sourness that is pretty cool lingers. Fizzy, light mouth feel, yeast, sour, light spices, a shit load of carbonation. jebert (122), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Pours a slighty hazy pale gold with a thin white, mostly dissapating head. Nose is tangerine. Light bodied with slight fizz on the palate. Tangerine predominates the taste with a nice light dry slightly hoppy finish. Worth a try as a novelty, but this brew won’t find permanent space in my ’frige. Pairs well with light snacks, fruit or nuts. SledgeJr (2970), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Cloudy dark gold with a medium white head. This has an intense Orangine-smelling aroma, but the flavor is horrendous. Just too much orange for me to appreciate. And not in a refreshing shandy/radler type of way. Tangerine simply does not belong in beer. guyinchicago (534), marengo, Illinois, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2009 This cloudy yellowish orange beer poured with a thin white head that bubbled away. There is a strong aroma of, guess what, tangerine. The flavor is wheat heavily laced with tangerine juice. It’s either bad beer or bad tangerine juice depending on your point of view. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Poured a murky medium copper beneath a smallish tan head. Aroma was instantly a very tangy orange scent, much more so than expected. Beer or orange juice in my glass? Mouthfeel was nothing to dislike, maybe a bit "slippery". The flavour...overpoweringly orange and not all that nice. Strictly a novelty beer. Strykzone (1492), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Thanks Hayduke! Murky unfiltered dirty gold appearance. No head to speak of. The aroma is orange juice. Flavor is also full of fruit. Oranges, and grapes. A mildly bitter finish. This is pretty much a wine cooler kind of beer, albeit one with some wheat notes. piscator34 (1132), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Oct 15, 2009 Bottled sample. Clear orange in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas of orange creamsicle, and a bit white bread dough. More fake citrus flavoring in the mouth, with a faint mineral finish. Very watery in the mouth. Bizzare, and not very good at all.
