It is slightly cloudy, like a wheat beer, but amber in color. It gets even better as the temp. goes up. triodes (7), California, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Quality product. Nice Tangerine. Not overdone, just right. Great aroma, good depth. A good alternative to Rogue Honey Orange, and cheaper. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 18, 2008 This fruit beer pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is tangerine and mango, with a hint of wheat. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are wheaty and cereal. The hops are slightly spicy. Well is certainly is a tangerine wheat beer, just loads of citrusy tangerine flavors. Yet there is some wheat beer backbone in the background. Crisp and clean. It is most definitely a tangerine wheat beer. The flavors are good, nothing artificial tasting. I kind of like this beer, it would be nice session ale for a hot summer day. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. ChainGangGuy (2616), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, orange-copper body with a thin, meager head.
Smell: A bottle politely mentions a "hint" of tangerine, but, damn it, I say there’s more than a hint! A lovely, tangerine laden nose is what it is, friends.
Taste: A solid dose of wheat, but it’s mainly sweet, juicy tangerines. Sweetish at first, but then it gives way to more citrus and a light, vague bitterness. Citrusy all the way through to the end, babies!
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: Just when I was griping about a lack of tangerine-based beers Lost Coast saves the day. WeeHeavySD (3042), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Nose is huge and full of tangerine. Taste is holy shit, big huge fruity character comes through, and its super drinkable. Sweet and nice and pretty great. organizized (2), Drums, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 13, 2006 I had this at the Arena Bar and Grill in Wilkes-Barre, PA on 11/11/06. It had a very nice tangerine aroma. The tangerine flavor was not overwhelming, but complimented the wheat base very well. This was a great alternative to a wheat beer with a slice of orange that I was craving. It complimented the Magic Hat No. 9 BBQ chicken quite well. yesyouam (611), Fairport, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Lost Coast Tangerine is a hazy and sparkling ale that lingers between light amber and deep gold, with a hue leaning toward peach. It has a small white head that fades to a film and stays put to leave nice lacing on the glass. It has a bright tangerine aroma, with a note of lemongrass. It is medium bodied, quite bubbly and extremely smooth. The finish is clean. Tangerine is quite prominent in the taste. It is moderately bitter and well balanced. It is a nice, sound, refreshing and satisfying wheat ale serving as a backdrop for tangerine. There is a clean, short, tangerine peel finish. What a great idea. Rather than just trying to emulate citrus with hops, they just went for it.
