12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a fully diminished tan head. Malty and light spiced but also a light bit oldish note in the aroma. Flavour is light chocolate smooth and with a light liqourice note. Ends with a light bitterness and light chocolate lingering finish.

Sampled in a bottle. Pours dark brown with heavy malts and spicy hops. A very nice winter ale that has a deep overall flavor and smooth texture.

Bottle - Deep copper brown to a near black color with little head, unsure if the bottle was a bit flat. The aroma was mostly nutty with an undertone of nuts. The flavor followed the aroma. The palate had a good quality of nutty hop flavor. 1.79 produce place

12 ounce bottle from Indra. Pours brown with a bit of white head. The nose is like a can of mixed nuts with some chocolate notes. The flavor is nutty as well with some chocolate and caramel. Pretty bitter too. Medium body. Lots of carbonation. Medium finish. Not really a bad beer. LIke Tim, I enjoyed the hops.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Indra. Pour is flat cola, with a one inch dirty white head. There was a bit of carbonation and lacing on the pour. Aroma of nuts and sweet cocoa, though both were fairly muted. Taste is very similar to their brown, though I thought it was a bit thinner. The cocoa / chocolate notes really were not present in the taste for me. The finish did feature a bit of hop bitterness, which was nice. Overall, a decent Brown, but not much more.
