pours dark brown. Small light brown head. Smells of chocolate and coffee. Tastes like a chilled coffee with a twist. Overall pretty good winter time beer.

~Smells of roast choclate malt and caramel. ~ Dark amber brown colour. No head. ~ Choclate flavor with a bit of nut. A bit bitter. ~ Palate is very light. ~ I was hoping for a thicker richer beer, but this is easy to drink and enjoyable. Kind of watery. I do enjoy it. Just not really what I hoped for or expected.

Pours dark brown forming light brown foamy head. Aroma of roasted chocolate malts with a bit of hops and caramel. Flavor is of a typical brown ale. Nutty malts with a slight roasted flavor. Not my fave style, but was pretty drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with little brown head. Aroma is chocolate and fresh roasted coffee beans. Flavor is mostly chocolate, some roastiness, some maltiness, some caramel, some light vanilla and possibly some faint nuttiness. Body is medium to light and has moderate to light carbonation. Finish fades from sweet to lightly bitter and leaves a pleasant toastiness. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle pour. Thin ivory colored head. Nutty, malty aroma with thin body, nutty chocolate palate and bitter coffee finish. Not difficult to drink, but not as complex or hearty as I had hoped.
