Bottle. Light smell of roasted malt and light sweet, a little bit like cola. Medium brown creamy-foamy head, rather fast disappearing. The body is nearly black. First taste is light bitter and malty, the finish is normal and a little bit more bitter. The beer is dry and a little bit watery, there is not much carbonation and rather light.

It’s black/brown with a red hue and the head is small and creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, rye bread and syrup. The flavour has sweetness and the same notes as the aroma and it ends on a dry, grapefruit note. IMO the sweetness is too strong and the grapefruit makes it out of balance, it’s like the two halves does not meet...

Bottled (as Louny Schwarzbier)@Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere. Very deep ruby red colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee and mild hops and roast. Flavour is mildly roasted malts, caramel malts, some slight notes of grass and toffee. Also mild licorice in the finish.

(Bottled BB 02/2009). Pub Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere. Dark brown color, small creamy brownish head. Milky, a bit sour, toasted nose. Sweet, grassy, a bit sour-milky flavor. Too sweet schwarzbier to be enjoyable.

Dark brown reddish colour, clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma has some nice descret burnt notes, sweet too. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish moderate bitter. Texture is syrup.
