I encountered this beer in Berlin, and i must say, it was a pleasant meeting. Clear dark brown coloured. Malty, chocolate and smokey aroma and flavour. Very well balanced. Nice beer.

Bottle from a friend from Deutschland. Small off white head, brown color. Roasty, sweet aroma, and similar flavor. Seems to be sweetened with sugar of some sort. Has a decent burnt finish.

Bottle. Large creamy like beige head that mostly lasted. Fair lacing. Clear amber color. Butter, roasted, caramel, fruit and hint of chocolate. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Flavor was moderated sweet malty notes with light bitterness. Sweet and light lingering finish. Thought this was really good and very drinkable beer. Then again, I like sweet things… ;-)
