Compared to Miller, this stuff is great. Great, maybe, but still not the best. Poured out a deep dark brown color, not black, just brown. Aromas of toasted malts, biscuit-like also. Dry taste to it, with a coffee-ish aftertaste. Didn't have much of a head either. An ok beer at best. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

Decent caramel malt character throughout with bit of hops at finish. Not bad. motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 31, 2003 Brown in color with a quickly disappearing head. Nice malt aroma. Somewhat weak and wimpy malt flavor that is disappointing. Finishes weakly. Libeerian (209), Garner, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 9, 2003 Weak malt nose and light bodied, Miller's version of this famous brew is uncomplicated though refreshing. The subtle malt finish fades very quickly.
