Feb 28, 2007 I use to drink a lot of this back in the day. Not it is hardly distributed in America. Roasted aroma, slightly sweet flavor, very subtle hint of chocolate.

Feb 3, 2007 Bottle, 5.5%. Roasted aroma, slightly metallic. Clear dark brown colour. Small, semi-stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and clean. Late aftertaste, weak, but nicely roasted. Quite nice for a standard dunkel.

Nov 22, 2006 (bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a fluffy, quite persistent foamy light-beige head. Dusty, slightly ashy malt aroma, moderately roasted. Dark-malty taste with chocolate and shy notes of caramel; medium bodied, crispy carbonation; moderately dry malty, light-bitter finish with shy notes of herbal hops. Not bad, a bit mediocre.

Apr 27, 2006 300ml vom fass at Malhäser in Stuttgart. Clear and deep mahogany in colour with a dense beige head. Heavy malt aroma. Sweet malty flavour of caramel. A watery mouthfeel and a bit too much carbonated (22.04.2006).
