A red-brown beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of straw, but also light notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of both straw and caramel.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pretty, clear light brown with a neat, off-white head. Nose is purely roasted malt. Medium body with loads of roasted malt and caramel. Perhaps even a lightly burned edge. Mainly sweetish with a light bitter finish. A classical and lovely Dunkel. 220106

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut dark brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma is mild spiced and towards breadish. dry breadish and light hops spiced. Light bitterness coming through towards a medium dry and mild spiced finish - slight acidic touch. Nice and easy to drink - yet simple.

Bottle, 5.5%. Roasted aroma, slightly metallic. Clear dark brown colour. Small, semi-stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and clean. Late aftertaste, weak, but nicely roasted. Quite nice for a standard dunkel.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Deep rubyish brown colour, with small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some mild roasted notes as well as mild burnt sugar. Flavour is quite grassy hoppy along with caramel and roasted malts. Aftertaste is rather sweet. Still very wellbalanced, even though not that exciting.

Keg
Deep amber color; light hop aroma; light malt in the taste, and sweet caramel. Not bad, but missing a bite.

Bottle
Deep amber color. Quite nice malt and caramel aroma. Simple taste, with a very strong caramel character, sweet in the front and bitter later, but somehow metallic.
