[Bottled.] Deep hazy yellow colour. Big head as always with hefes. Fruity nose - bubblegum, banana and phenols. Supersmooth mouthfeel (bit of surprise) and a tidbitty touch from esters. Stable hefe.

Can, 0.5 L
Typical HW yellow color, hazy, crowned with a big, white, creamy head. Fruity aroma, yesty with notes of cinammon and green apple. The flavor is sweet, herbal and a bit cerealish; with hints of marshmallow, chewing gum and a nutmeg at the end. Light body, smooth aftertaste, medium carbonation.

Can 500 ml, labeled LöwenWeisse Hefe Weissbier
Pours a dark yellow/light orange cloudy color. Head is beautiful, big white and creamy. It shows good retention and leaves a thick film and lacing. Aroma is yeasty/fruity with fresh notes of orange, vanilla and banana, typical for the style. Very bold and nice. I found some hints of spices, wheat and flowers. Flavor is sweet and wheaty with lots of refreshing cereal and herbal flavors in the mouth. Very characteristic of the style too. Better and bolder than Erdinger. Light to medium, very refreshing. High carbonation and watery texture. Medium short grainy finish and good aftertaste. I could drink a ton of this beer on this hot chilean spring/summer.

Bought in my trip to Mendoza, Argentina

Bottle purchased in Vienna in March 2006, and stamped 02.07. This might be the best looking hefeweizen I have ever had. It is a perfect dark orange with lots of bubbles and floating sediment toped by a layer of white foam. The aroma is outstanding as well with lots of banana coming from the bottle before even pouring, and when in the glass it has orange and coriander as well. Flavor is sweet, and includes yeast, banana, and more fruit. This is a very thick beer, and heavy on the palate. World class.

Off-white head. Orange color, unclear. Fruity aroma. Apple-flavor. Kind a nice. Flavor has a short finish.
