Pretty simple marzen with straight forward sweet caramel malts and very low hop impact. Not a lot of appeal for me here but the simple sweet malts will have its fans. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2006 Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, citrus, and grain. Flavor wasn’t malty enough for a marzen, sweet malts, citrus, slightly grain, thin bodied. Drinkable. CEZ (373), Milano, Italy
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2004 [on tap at the Löwenbräu Keller in Sagrado]. Looked more like a Vienna: light red body and white, thin, rather lasting head. Not too much to say besides the malty, slightly fruity aroma and taste. Palate is light to medium. Dry finish, with hints of citrus. sayravai (3784), Helsinki, Finland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2004 (Tapped) Clear, pale yellow color with small head. Sweet, very fruity bubblegum aroma. Moderately malty, sweetish flavor with little or no hops. Light to medium-bodied, sugary palate with quite low carbonation. A decent, but quite sugary and light märzen. Voivod (304), Como, Italy
