A pale golden coloured beer with a frothy white head. A wheaty, hoppy aroma, citrus and tropical fruits. A rounded, dry taste a tiny hint of malt, then the expected cereal, hop and tropical fruits come through, with a surprising caramel, toffeed flavour towards the end, Dry in the finish. (Bottle - purchased from Sainsbury’s, King’s Lynn for £1.28 a bottle).

Golden and lively with a swift head,
How can you call this a Märzen?

Dusty, grainy, grassy, musty
aroma of cabbage and Saaz,
How can you call this a Märzen?

Thin and lagered, sweet grains and milk,

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly leaving traces lace. Clear light amber color. Good carbonation and light-medium bodied. Slight skunky nose. Starts almost sweet becomes more hoppy with a drying bitter after taste. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Capital Convenience Concord, NH.

500ml bottle: poured yellow with a medium white head. Had a huge skunky aroma, either that or those were herbal hops. Skunked through and through in the flavor. Mostly herbal hops. Not very good but I did finish it all.

A yellow beer with a disappearing light yellow head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of wheat and grain. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of grain, leading to a slightly bitter end.

Nice golden yellow in the glass with an adequate head. Tastes sweet, honey and sugar with an underlying malt. A bit watery, but an easy drinking beer, good with your lunch. Very average - but not bad.
