Clear golden-yellow body with a fizzy white head. Aroma of corny adjuncts and sweet underattenuated pale malt. Flavor is semi-sweet with low bitterness and just enough texture to distinguish it from a generic pale lager. With no redeeming malt or hop characters, this doesn’t strike me as much more than Lowenbrau Original with a fancy label. Inoffensive, but banal.

50cl bottle. pours very light gold with minimal-no head. typical "skunky" aroma of other german beers. thick, cloying and flat in the mouth. agree with the reviewer that said "its very lagerish all round".

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Shamansbury’s. Sweet yeasty aroma with some bread. Lager like appearance. Infact its rather lagerish all round. Rather syrupy and sticky in addition. Not fantastic.

Bottled:
Golden coloured with a medium sized, dense head. Sweet, malty aroma with notes of green apples. Fat, malty flavour followed by a sharp bitterness.

Bottle, 500ml. A clear pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aromas of sweet orange and a little hoppiness. Taste is sweet caramel, lightly hoppy and malty with some roasted notes. A little citrus in the finish. Moderate carbonation. This is well balanced and easy to drink.

Clear orange-yellow with a decent white head. Creamy aroma of cooked grain with a bit of nuttiness coming through on tasting. Flavour is a bit on the sweet side, although there is some bitterness. Medium bodied with a nice even carbonation, but the aftertaste is a bit twangy. Drinkable, but half a litre is a bit of a struggle.

Gold with a large white head, malty aroma and a malty sweet taste, surprised at it being 6.1%.
