Aroma of corny adjuncts and sweet underattenuated pale malt. Flavor is semi-sweet with low bitterness and just enough texture to distinguish it from a generic pale lager. With no redeeming malt or hop characters, this doesn’t strike me as much more than Lowenbrau Original with a fancy label. Inoffensive, but banal.

Lager like appearance. Infact its rather lagerish all round. Rather syrupy and sticky in addition. Not fantastic. pilsnerrogge (1784), Finspång, Sweden

Aromas of sweet orange and a little hoppiness. Taste is sweet caramel, lightly hoppy and malty with some roasted notes. A little citrus in the finish. Moderate carbonation. This is well balanced and easy to drink. joergen (8610), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Clear orange-yellow with a decent white head. Creamy aroma of cooked grain with a bit of nuttiness coming through on tasting. Flavour is a bit on the sweet side, although there is some bitterness. Medium bodied with a nice even carbonation, but the aftertaste is a bit twangy. Drinkable, but half a litre is a bit of a struggle. JayBaxter (388), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England
