| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Apr 6, 2005 This was yucky. Poured pretty decently - looked like a beer my dad would have enjoyed. Pretty bitter and flat, with a metallic aftertaste. Maybe a little garlicky or oniony - just something disagreeable to it that I can’t place. oh6gdx (9065), Vasa, Finland
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 19, 2005 Canned. Pale golden with big white head. Malty and hoppy nose. Pretty bitterflavour with hints of alcohol. Aftertaste smoothens the bitterness up. Also some hints of alcohol can be found in the flavour. Can said should be served cold, but I think it got better once it got a bit warmer. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 8, 2005 Pale gold. Fluffy white head. Green bottle aroma, with hints of sweet malt. Sweet bready malts, light to medium body, strange tin/metallic kick, bitter hops and a sweet alcoholic finish. Not terrible, but I dont think I’d drink it again. Unless perhaps I was in Munich and I was already intoxicated. HopsOrDie (687), New Lenox, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 30, 2005 Pours golden yellow which I would consider light for an Octoberfest. Has a fizzy white head. The nose is malty with some noble hop aroma. Flavor is malty but not too sweet. Balancing bitterness in the backend lets you drink it all night. This is a good session beer and would be a hit with BMC lovers. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Crystal clear blonde coloured body with a small but frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt, cardboard, caster sugar and some old german hops-not too pleasant. Medium-bodied; Suprising caramel and fuller taste of malt and a light low a.a. hoppiness. Aftertaste just shows some light caster sugar and subtle off-flavours such as cardboard. Overall, not really an ’oktoberfest’ style beer (such as a Marzen), but I really can’t argue with the Germans. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle fresh from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on Thanksgiving Thursday, 25-November-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Indra (2036), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 15, 2004 Cereal malt aroma, some dull sweetness noted with lighter notes of skunky, herbal hop and musty vegetable. Light-medium golden color, highly effervescent with a thickly foamy, lasting head. Flavor is lightly bitter and hoppy to start, a bit of mild spiciness, then turns sweet and sugary with some very faint caramel maltiness. Mouthfeel is oddly thick for this style but still highly carbonated, body is light-medium. More of a malt liquor feel, I suppose. Hum. biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 9, 2004 Bad. This doesn’t taste like an Oktoberfest. Of course, I don’t really know what on Oktoberfest tastes like, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t it. It was just gross.
