| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 28, 2004 Pale gold with a bubbly white head. Aromas are grain, lemon - sweet and zesty. Flavours are citrus and apricot with grain. The finish is dry and bitter with petrol notes. More malt liquor than the typical Oktoberfest beer. Lacks any delicate sophistication. Still, for what it actually is - its not bad. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2004 Bottle. Sweetish and a little sticky, lightly grassy and bready. Dry finish. Pretty drinkable and a bit better than normal Lowenbrau, a little sticky maybe. BrockLanders (751), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 19, 2004 Going into this I didn’t expect much so it comes as no surprise that nothing very interesting is going on here. Bright pale gold colour. Bready malt aroma with cardboard undertones. The flavour is sweet, but, at the same time, has a sharp bitterness. The balance is not great. Rather acidic finish completes this unfortunate experience. DeepBlack (387), Derby, Derbyshire, England

Straight from the Fridge.
Looked good, smelt good but a Strong alcohol taste. Kind of like a weak Duvel. Not really for me, but a passable Lager.

It lacked that sweet edge that gives Oktoberfests their greatness. Its an ok beer, but not a great Oktober. biermensch (64), USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Oct 16, 2004 This was a tough brew to finish. Had an odd, off taste that was repulsive. At least it looked good. The worst Marzen that I’ve tried. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
