Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Toom Getränke in Kaiserslautern. Pours a medium amber color. Aromas of roast malts, caramel, and a touch of spice(ginger?). Flavor has a nice smooth sweet roasted taste. A little bitter on the finish.

On tap in Berlin. Rich, malty brew, easy to rink despite the alcohol level. Some bitterenss to balance the malt as well. Decent.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pale golden with a medium sized head and an aroma of fresh apples, fresh malts and biscuits. The taste is fresh, malty, hoppy and a bit bitter. A slight sour, bitter finish rounds it up. Not a bad beer.

Bottle (500ml). Poured fizzy gold with an averaged sized, fluffy, white head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was dominated by sweet grainy malts with yeasty/bread notes, straw, peppery hops, apples and hints of lemon citrus. Strong notes of barnyard hay in the flavour with a light bitterness, some yeasty notes, grainy malts, brown bread, honey, apples and some light rustic notes in the finish. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry mouthfeel and an ok finish.

Golden colour, medium head. Strong and pleasant hops aroma, but the taste wasn’t too complex - hops and grainy notes with slight bitterness in finish.

Pale golden with a light head. Rich malty taste, hints of bread and caramel. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Nice golden color with a large foamy head. The aroma is very average lager-like. Slightly of malt, but not much else to find there except some bread. The taste is malty, clean, pretty sweet, slightly bready. It actually got a good "maltyness". The bitterness is there, but could be more prominent, but on the other hand that’s maybe not the intention of a oktoberfest beer. The mouthfeel is okay. Carbonation isn’t that high, which is a plus. Drinkability is good; you can drink this in large quantites if you like. Goes down easy. Sometimes it’s the right time for this kind of beers too. Surprisingly good! One of the better oktoberfestbiers.
