I had never thought much of Lowenbrau until I had this one. It has a nice full flavor with enough bitterness to catch your attention. Of the Oktoberfest beers, this is a great one.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale golden coloured with a small but long lasting head, some lacing. Slight fruity aroma, light hoppy flavour. Refreshing and light, with nicely carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet and hoppy aftertaste. Good one, probably my favourite of the Lowenbrau’s I’ve tried so far.

This was a pretty good oktoberfest. Poured a golden yellow with a nice white head. Very smooth and malty and just the thing for the fall.

50cl bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Clear straw with a ton of white fluffy head. Aroma is caramel. Sweet flavor of caramel with just enough hop bitterness to balance it. Lightly bitter short finish. A great well-balanced drinkable beer.

A leader in Octoberfest beers. This is a true original. Sweet at first and finishes with a nice well-balanced maltiness. Head disappears quickly but attaches nicely to the glass with each sip.

(Draft)Nice golden clear beer with good head retention. Clean malty aroma. Reminds me of a light maibock or an extra strong helles. Easy to drink. A nice change of pace from the darker and more munich malty o'fests. Can drink a lot of this and get plowed.
