Aroma: Skunk alert! Goddamn green bottle. A bit of bready malt, otherwise this is musty, uninteresting, and bland. Appearance: Very pale, clear, dingy, brassy yellow; almost the color of egg whites. White head is very fizzy but with adequate retention. Flavor: Very bland. Corn, a bit of grassy hop bitterness and old hop cheesiness. Clean and crisp, like mineral water. Overall, a stereotypically lousy beer worthy of much lampooning. Palate: Actually somewhat chewy, while at the same time effervescent. Not bad. Overall: (Yawn!) If you’re looking for a bland, relatively unobtrusive beer, there are better and cheaper options out there.

12 oz bottle. Pours yellow gold in color with fluffy white head. Aroma is skunk. Flavor is skunky but can also taste sweet malt and barly. I uswed to love this stuff in high school and then one day it did not taste the same.

In order to be truly appreciated this beer needs to be imbibed on tap in Germany (or at least somewhere in Europe). The bottled version that makes it to the US pales in comparison. This is a great German helles, smooth and tasty, best enjoyed with a huge plate of schnitzel in an enormous beveled stein.

Abril/2008. Garrafa 330 ml. Coloração dourada, com creme branco denso e persistente! Presença evidente de lúpulo. Bem equiibrada.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium yellow/golden color. Yeasty, and a bit skunk smelling. Flavor was mildly bitter and watery mouthfeel.

Just average, used to buy but so many better brews out there. Aroma and appearance average to a little below same. Flavor not exciting, not as great on the palate Not impressed overall.
