This is not the same stuff that Miller brewed for so many years. I like this beer now and again but, I like lagers more than most of the people who rate beer on this site. frizzzzle (66), Overland Park, Kansas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 7, 2006 Pours a nice, clear blonde color, with a foamy, white head. Aroma is slightly skunky, relatively clean, and barely metallic. The flavor is dry, but pretty generic. There is some hop flavor, but it’s very mild. Mouthfeel is very light, with lots of bubbles. The finish is a bit sweeter, and the beer leaves a surprisingly sweet aftertaste. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this beer. It’s not WOW, but it’s not bad. homersimpsin (40), South Melbourne, Australia

For an imported beer i dont think its value for money. mansquito (832), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Traded a bottle of Black Dog Ale for a bottle of this with one of my friends/. A fairly good beer. It is really nothing special, but it is certainly easy to drink and has a good and rich flavour for a beer that goes down so well. Would drink it again if nothing better was available. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Poured a pale yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is a little strange. Overall, a decent lagerI really enjoyed. RaphaelN (195), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Didn’t like it too much. Tastes like a very generic pale ale. In other words, very cheap, watery taste. A little carbonated and skunky smell. Tastes pissy after a bit. Heineken saved me from this. So imagine how it tastes. Remember the foil at top of bottle? Been about 20 years since I had one until yesterday. The aroma smelled of strong flat hops. Has a golden color and rather carbonated. The first taste brought back all those memories of hanging out at "strobes" near the Honolulu Airport or drinking "Lowies" at Palisades Park. Bottom line, it did the job then, but now, its a considerable bore. Not too bad, like when mowing the grass on a hot summer day. highlandlad (1258), Sydney, Australia
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/20 | Oct 27, 2006 One of those can’t-believe-I-never-rated-it beers that you occasionally stumble on. And then wish you hadn’t. Looks fine - bright gold with a short enduring crown.
They seem to have abandoned the old brown bottles in favour of green which ensured this was light-struck. Smart move, InBev. Diacetyl and a sulphurous off-note compound the problems with the aroma - smells like buttered skunk baked in rubber boots. Horribly sweet with a squeeze of watery lemon, papery pale malts and faint metallic bitterness in the swallow. A classic dumbed-down macro lager-by-numbers with every expense spared. This surely can’t always have been this awful. A depressing experience. (330ml bottle from Dan Murphys, Kingsford. Best before Feb 2007)
