of course i’ve had lowenbrau....used to drink it at the ratskeller with my boys, sometimes the dark version, came in huge king size goblets. used to be more popular when we were growing up as the ’import’ golden in color with a light biscuit taste. your typical pils/helles/everyday beer.

Very pale gold body with a white head. Fruits and malts dominate the aroma. Corn, fruit and high carbonation in the body. Semi-bitter ending.

Clear fizzy yellow color with a thin frothy white head. Sweet malty aroma with a slight hint of corn. Sweet malt flavor, a bit thin, with some slight corn hints.

One word: crisp This is a great introduction to German beers. Its by far not the wort mut once you get into the German micro-brewery market it can only get better. This doesn’t taste like it has much hops but I’ve always detected a bit of citrus in this beer...

A refreshing beer, good as a session beer. Nice and light, like a pilsner without the hoppiness. A little clingy with some artificial sweetener flavors, but nothing terrible. Solid.

A clear yellow beer with a white head. I like most beers that match that description. Few that are available to me in New Brunswick catch my attention. This one is not an exception. However, definetly worth trying.
