| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Found in Kathmandu, produced by Inbev India -slash- Arctic International Nepal. 650ml bottle at a supermarket in Thamel - where else, naturalich? Pours bright yellow, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and has a head that actually stays on top of the drink! After trying Nepal’s local beers you’ll understand what a miraculous thing this is. The aroma could be better, I could only get tin and alcohol out of the smell, a little bit of smelly armpit in there too. The flavour is a mix of corn and grains, sweet finish, slight fruitiness as well. An good mix of flavours that reminds you what real beer tastes like, after experimenting too much with poorly made local brews.

App.: Clear light golden with a large white meringue.
Aroma: Metallic light malts, very light biscuit, some light grassy-peppery hops, a little wet hay and cardboard.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation.
Flav.: Pretty bland, a bit of cardboard, some very light biscuit hops, cereal/grain, very little hop character; dry with a touch of bitterness and a little lingering light malt.
Seems to me that this tasted much better at the Löwenbräu Keller in München. That was several years ago. Maybe the beer has changed, maybe I’ve changed, maybe both. Niko100 (158), New York, USA
