I dont know what the buzz of this its all about, i mean its a nice beer and i would drink it again and it has a long tradition but to me, this is a Good Quality lager, but nothing of the another world, presenting almost all the characterictics of a German lager

Dec 11, 2009 Yellow pour with soapy white head. Grainy aroma with mild herbal hops. Slightly earthy. Flavor is slightly more bitter. Medium bodied. Easy drinking. Not a bad brew.

Nov 26, 2009 500 ML bottle in Germany. Med yellow color with pure white head. Taste is soft and not overwelming. Not a bad beer at all and a desent Helles.

Nov 21, 2009 12 oz Bottle -- Pours light golden color with a white head. Pretty standard wheat, hay, and bready aromas. Overall a pretty sweet beer. Good malt character and body. A little bitterness on the finish.

Nov 20, 2009 500 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear light golden with a large white meringue.
Aroma: Metallic light malts, very light biscuit, some light grassy-peppery hops, a little wet hay and cardboard.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation.
Flav.: Pretty bland, a bit of cardboard, some very light biscuit hops, cereal/grain, very little hop character; dry with a touch of bitterness and a little lingering light malt.
Seems to me that this tasted much better at the Löwenbräu Keller in München. That was several years ago. Maybe the beer has changed, maybe I’ve changed, maybe both.

Nov 11, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours pale golden, with a quickly vanishing head. Aroma is slightly sweet for a lager. A good lager, but nothing very complex and nothing really stands out.
