Anyway, it poured out a golden yellow color, with a slight haziness to it. Had a decent enough head on it, but didn’t last too long. Slightly bitter taste to it, with a metallic finish to it as well. It did taste of malts, and a slight fresh hay quality to it also. Had bitterness aplenty. Finished kind of thin, however. A better pilsener than most on the market. Aldrighetti (162), Coltura, Italy
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2004 Bottle. Straw yellow, large white head, slowly to disappears.
Fresh aroma, hoppy, weak persistence. Hay aroma on an honey-malty backbone.
Weak honey sweetness followed by a moderate herbal bitterness. Hoppy-herbal aftertaste, nearly balsamic, of bitter herbs, gentian.
Dry palate, oily to watery texture, medium body. It is best on tap. IslandHaole (1035), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 19, 2004 I had the Japanese brewed version of this, brewed by Asahi brewery. Pale golden and clear, just as one would expect. A medium white head, a touch of lacing. A very mild aroma, some sweetness with faint spicy hop tones. A very mild flavor, not too sweet as some of the "corn flake juice" Japanese macros can be. A step above average Japanese & US macros, but just a small step. I imagine this would be ggod in warmer weather or while eating Bratwurst! ogivlado (3070), Zagreb, Croatia

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 30, 2002 Pretty average German pils. Not too much taste to it, if anything, a little bitter though. Pale color, not too much head to it. Smells pretty average, too.
