Malt, caramel, english hops, toffee in the nose. Cherry, toffee, caramel, pit fruits in the taste with most of it going to the malt backbone. Aftertaste nice-sweet & subtle showing malt and pit fruit qualities. Overall, a really nice treat from the authentic german pub, but in Australia! Strong coffee, roasted malts, caramel aroma. Full bodied. Bittersweet (dark chocolate) and not too syrupy; long dry and slighlty bitter finish. Balanced and very tasty. Alcohol is well hidden.
