Starts really strong, but not alcoholic. More dry then spicy, not really sweet. Finish malty, not too roasty, a bit sourish. Very drinkable and good doppelbock! mcdav2154 (297), Germany

Smell was not strong but I did get some malt. Taste was great. Full of caramel and raisin with some smoke. Creamy mouthfeel and a nice tang on the back of the tongue. Great Doppelbock and I can’t wait to have more. rmussman (905), California, USA

A lot of raisins and roquefort in the nose. Faintly smoky. (Some beechwood?). Good taste. Some smoke showing up. Pleasant. Caramel in the finish. Thanks a lot joss! Bov (5455), Bienne, Switzerland
