A deep red-brown beer with no haed. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel as well as hints of alcohol. The flavor contains notes of stale fruit, figs, wood, and alcohol. The mouthfeel is dry.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, beautiful orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Rich aroma of fat, roasted malt. Solid body - again with a shipload of roasted malt. A light tartness and some bitterness in the finish. A lovely and very classical Doppelbock. Yummy. 160806

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with aredish glare and dense tan head. Dense malt aroma with light alcohol note and a breadish scent. Flavour is sweet malty, light caramel note and a solid dense malt and alcohol mix. Warming alcohol finish with a light fruity note. Nice one.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Deep rubyish brown colour with huge beigeish pale brown creamy head. Leaves nice lace. Aroma is fruits, caramel, chocolate and some mild roasted notes. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, some slight alcoholic warming notes. Also some mild fruity notes. Easy to drink Doppelbock.

Clear dark brown. Fairly rich aroma with toffee and lots of dark sugars. Simple dark malt character with chewy toffee. The body is a shade light for the style, but the malt richness compensates for this. Decent.
