Oct 27, 2009 Draft @ restaurant on Thai Thin St. Amber and hazed with thick off-white foam. Aroma is similar to stale American amber ales with caramel and crystal malts. Slick palate. The flavors match the crystal malt and caramelly aromas. Some diacetyl. Drinkable but not good.
Golden-amber. Thick head. Doughy, slightly bready aroma. Doughy taste. Quite extracty with a light astringency. Light fruity hop character with some gasoline. Quite extracty and a little unbalanced. Needs more malt and more hop.
