this is strange, duff decides he´s coming to visit, i figure we should go on a daytrip to žatec and then he comes out the next day and rates one of their beers. anyway, dark brown, caramel and toffee apple aroma. vanilla and coffee icecream with a surprising amount of late bitterness. luscious and nice, good to know there are still good tmaves out there

bottle. Dark colour, large head, malty nose. Flavours of malt, roasted malt, slightly caramelly. Not sweet at all, quite hoppy, but not bitter - well-balanced brew.

Bottle. Surpised that this wasn’t in the database. Nice schwarz. Very dry and bitter, but soft at the same time. Softly buttery, with some light raisin, finishing bitter and floral, with subtle roasted/chocolatey malt, this was really, really nice, and extrememly drinkable.

Choc nutty aroma. Black with a brown head. Chocolate sweet though balanced. Bit of vanilla and coffee too. Smooth medium-full. Nice.

50 cL bottle, thanks to ChristianScheffel. Pours golden dark brown with a slowly collapsing tan head. Mild chalky yet also roasted malt aroma. Flavour is dark fruity and roasted malt. Holds a light metallic note. Goes into a dry and roasted malt finish.
