Ungstrup (11164), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2008 Bottled. A light golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, hazy, and malt, and hints of brewmash. The flavor is sweet maltyh with notes of straw - a quite crisp flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin. Plain, but OK. pivnizub (3826), Porúří, Germany Nov 17, 2007 Bottle (333ml): Slightly hazy, small, slightly lacing foamy layer, distinctive sweet-malty nose with soft waves of Bohemian (?) hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft, smooth MF, solid malty base detectable, light bodied; soft sweet-malty and bitter hoppy finish. Pleasant....... Hildigöltur (5052), København Ø, Denmark Sep 26, 2007 Bottled. A slightly hazy pale golden color. Breay aroma and flavor with hoppy notes. Soft and pleasant. duff (5405), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jul 31, 2007 Bottle. very sugary, sweet and thin, metallic notes, with not much depth or complexity, feels a little bit industrial to me. MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Jun 28, 2007 (33cl bottle) Almost clear, golden colour with a short, slightly off-white head. Sweet malty, strong bready nose with notes of lemon and a shy hoppy touch. Moderately sweet, slightly acidic flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented taste, bready, minimal toasted with subtle fruity notes (apple, citrus), light herbal notes in the background; moderately dry, slightly bitter finish. Not my cup of tea.
