Pours a hazy orange with a large fluffy white oversized head. Aroma is grassy and floral, spices, yeasts, esthers, fruit. Flavor is spices, yeasts, touch of sweetness, grass, not too sweet with a touch of unripe fruits. Nice brew.

Clear goldblond coloured beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. A hoppy aroma with some spicy hints. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hoppy herby with metallic touches and a dry ending.

33cl bottle @ Skjold Burne, Odense. Pours hazy orange with a nicely stable creamy egg white head and lacings. Nose is sweet of orange fruit and yeast. Smooth and full palate. Dry and yeasty flavor with a warmth from alcohol and a bit of coriander. Pleasant.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a lively, dense white head leaving laces. Fruity, phenollic and yeasty nose. Solid body, fruity with lots of white sugar and phenols. Warming alcohol in the finish. Old school pale Belgian Strong. 181209

Well, it certainly is a nice looking beer, I’ll grant you that. Cloudy yellow, with towering, rocky white head, It looks great in my Duvel Chalice.. Aroma is grainy and a wee bit spicy, maybe some toasty notes, too. Flavor is muted, some sweet malty notes, and a mellow, hoppy finish.

12/10/09 notes: Aroma is tangy, rock candy, green apple. Flavor is grainy, minerally, sour cherry and green apple, with a harsh astringent quality. Body has prickly carbonation, very light. I think this bottle was infected or mishandled, from other reviews it does not seem Lucifer should have that sour tang and bitter notes. I’ll retry when I snag another bottle, but I’m not excited.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow beer with an almost white head. The aroma is phenolic and fruit. The flavor is alcohol, fruit and phenols. The palate leaves some alcoholwarmth. Overall way too much alcohol, or badly hidden alcohol.

Pours a hazy yellow orange with a big pillowy white head. Aroma is citrus, biscuit and some spice. Flavor is similar with a nice lemon spice light malt character. A little hot on the backend but a nice beer.
