Feb 20, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Black, small head. Strong coffee aroma. Dryish with lots of coffee and licorice, soft mouthfeel. Packed with flavours derived from roasty malt. A good, robust stout.

Oct 29, 2006 On tap at Lucky Labrador, Quimby St, Portland. This was down as 6.1%. Black with ruby edges. Sour damson and molasses aroma, softer in mouth. Great sour stout with real character. Lots of choc malt. Great character.

Jul 11, 2008 22oz bottle shared thanks to Josh. Poured a dark brown color wtih a small sized off white head. Aromas of some roastiness, chocolate, dark fruits, and nutty. Tastes of chocolate, lighter roast, caramel, and coffee. Body on the thinner side.

Jun 10, 2004 Tap@Lucky Labrador. Really well made. Rich and roasty as you’d expect in a good stout, mocha and chocolate. A bit soapy which was odd, but very tasty.
