Nov 29, 2008 Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee and licorice. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Jul 27, 2008 Not a big stout drinker, partly due to my hop addiction, but loved this one. aroma of licorice, roast malt, prune and pine. opaque darkest brown with thin tan head. flavor of roasted malt combines well with the hop edge (still advantage tot he roast, notes of coffee and molasses. seamles int he mouth, easy drinking.

Jul 11, 2008 Poured an opaque black color with a small, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast, smokey, charred wood, cocoa, light raisin, and a bit of fig. Taste of roasted malts, smoke, vanilla beans, light chocolate, and a dry, bitter finish.

Jul 11, 2008 22oz bottle shared thanks to Josh. Poured a dark brown color wtih a small sized off white head. Aromas of some roastiness, chocolate, dark fruits, and nutty. Tastes of chocolate, lighter roast, caramel, and coffee. Body on the thinner side.
