This one leaves you really thirsty. A rich almost amber hue, with a nice aroma, that tingles your nose but leaves your tastebuds hanging. CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2005 Reddish amber in color with a white head and sweet presence in the aroma. Not what I expected in an IPA. Very plain finish that left you wanted to know what happened? jackamackson (127), USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2005 The company could not save this one. Very little hops, and didn’t disinguish itself from other IPA’s. In fact, this looked kinda like Bud. You don’t think... beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2005 On tap at the Lucky Lab public house. Pours a transparent amber with a medium off-white head. Floral sweet citrus hops in the aroma. Taste starts lightly sweet but quickly fades to a citrusy hop bittered finish. Fruity crisp dry finish. 11026 (1779), Alabama, USA

Plenty of hop flavor and bitterness but lacking in aroma. Decent malt balance in taste. Not bad. motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2004 Clear amber-orange. Sugar-water sweetness in the malts, with caramel and toffee flavors. Juicy hop notes ... a little pine and some flowers. Nice aromas. Mild, but balancing, bitterness level. Some bitter orange notes as well. Pretty good, but I think I like the "alt IPA" better.
