| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2004 On tap at the brew pub. Deep golden color with a thin white head that left some lacing. Floral hop nose. Strong pine hop flavor, but the body really seemed lacking. Some white grape tastes and citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Okay beer but seemed to be missing some balance. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 24, 2004 Saw this place out of the corner of my eye as I drove by, but I’d heard of it before so I circled back and had a few pieces of (decent) pizza there and had this beer.
Sorry not to be too descriptive, but this IPA was average straight down the line, with a rather watery palate that left a bit to be desired.
Now that I live about three minutes from this place, I’ll certainly visit it again to try a few more of their brews and perhaps give this one another chance. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2004 Another orange beer, still but attractively topped. Tangy bitterness is the emphasis, but with little flavor to underpin it. Falls flat after the Top Dog. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 9, 2004 Taste starts overly fizzy and weak. Warms up and gives way to some sweetness and hoppiness. They really need to beef this one up with some hops.
