Feb 20, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden. Sweaty lychee aroma. Dryish and very hop aromatic. An amazing juicy hop monster with pleasantly soft mouthfeel and only medium bitterness. One of the best examples of the style I have tasted.

Mar 4, 2006 Light hazy beige colour. Massive pine and grapefruit aroma is certainly forthright. Bitter and flavourful with rounded pale malt balance. Rather simple, but effective nonetheless. Typical PNW IPA.

Jun 10, 2004 Nitro tap, regular tap and Cask@ Lucky Labrador. The nitro was very smooth, creamy, hoppy, but felt a bitted dummed down to me. Regular tap was sharper and fuller, full on lychee hop attack, bitter. The cask was the winner. Like the regular tap version but with a wilder, cheesier cask character, nice beer actually.

Aug 14, 2004 OBF 2004. Orange colored. Sweet creamy orange nose, similar to many IPAs at the festival. Crisp hop flavor, strong, sweet caramel malts with citrus hops, another very hoppy PNW IPA. Could be more balanced but it’s drinkable.

Nov 20, 2004 on tap, cask and nitro at lucky labrador. really nice on cask, big lychee and pine aroma with slight mustiness. quite juicy and then lightly citric dryness. the other versions weren’t particularly exciting, seemed quite muted in comparison

Dec 11, 2009 Pours dark gold with a creamy off-white head. Rather floral aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Quite hoppy - floral/citrus. Bitter finish. Fruity finish.

May 28, 2006 Not sure about the need for a nitro tap for a beer at every brewpub here. Dark yellow. Light head. Nicely hopped aroma. Hop flavour emphasizes the hops over the malt.

May 30, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Pours a light orange, very clear, with a fizzy white head. Tons of candy citrus hops throughout giving it a nice hop character without an overly bitter finish. The hops give a bit of sweet juicy tangerine flavor in the body. Medium body with a crisp dry finish.
